It was St. Patrick's Day, and the couple was having their party at St. Michael's Ukrainian Church Hall in Hamilton. More people showed up then the couple expected. They asked me to MC. I made announcements to promote their games. The 50/50 was ongoing, as was the Crown and Anchor, and the balloon dart game. Once most guests had arrived, it was time to select winners for the door prizes. After the meal, it was time for the toonie toss. The had two prizes, a bottle of whiskey, and a designer purse. There was dancing, raffle prize draws, followed by more dancing. Most recently, I was the DJ for a buck and doe on New Year's Eve in Jarvis. They had a countdown at midnight, then gave away raffle prizes to top off the evening of dancing.
